Ingredients

  • 500 ml filtered boiling water
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 2 black tea bags or 2 apple cinnamon tea bags
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 lemons juice extracted
  • 2 oz gin
  • 4 oz apple flavored vodka
  • 2 oz bourbon

To Garnish:

  • 10 mint leaves cleaned and crushed
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 red apple sliced
  • 1 green apple sliced
  • Ice
  • juice of half lemon

Instructions

  • Add the boiling water to a medium bowl. Add in the tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes.
  • Remove and discard the tea bag and stir in honey, lemon juice and crushed mint leaves into the still hot tea.
  • If you are using sweetened apple juice, and would't prefer the drink to be too sweet, skip the honey.
  • Let the tea cool at room temperature. Strain and discard the mint leaves.
  • Pour the tea into a pitcher, stir in the apple juice, gin, apple flavored vodka and bourbon. Taste and if you prefer more alcohol, adjust on your preference. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • When ready to serve, add sliced apples to a bowl, drizzle with lemon juice, mix and add them to the pitcher with the boozy apple tea.
  • Add lemon slices to the pitcher and a few fresh mint leaves. ans serve.
  • Add ice cubes, green and red apple slices and a few lemon slices to a tall glass. Pour the Boozy Iced Apple Tea, garnish with a lemon wedge and fresh mint. and Enjoy!
